So, that’s how I lost my virginity. I was 13, very lonely in all-boys summer camp. One day they took us to roller skating rink. There were girls from girl-scout camp at the rink at the same time. I bumped into a girl a couple of times while skating. Then I skated towards her and we stood by the ramp and talked for an hour and a half. First I tried to talk about abstract things like music but she was not very much interested. Then I started talking about sex and she liked it. I told her I’m a virgin and I have a friend who is teasing me about it all the time. She said she was a virgin too and she also had a friend who was teasing her asking her whether she lost her virginity every time they saw each other. So, I said – why don’t we just get over with it? She agreed. So we took a blanket and went into the woods. When we came back all the boys from my camp boarded the buses already and the buses were ready to depart. My counsels were so angry because of my disappearance, they pinched and kicked me and stopped only because it was time to go back. So I sat on the bus wearing this stupid smile from ear to ear, thinking about what just happened in the woods. The boys started shouting: ”Eugene is a fagot! Eugene is a fagot!” They never liked me - I was not manly, I was not good at team sports. So, they went on shouting, and I couldn’t chase this smile off my face, I was so happy, and I also knew that I was the only one who had real sex with a girl on that day.

She could’ve had a baby, my baby, and I won’t even know.
- Haven't you exchanged addresses or phones?
- We didn’t have time to say good-buy, I had to hurry to join my party. I don’t even know her name. She introduced herself when we just started talking but I immediately forgot her name, and it was too awkward to ask.

That's how it started. Oh, I had a lot of sex back in the 80s…

в русской версии почему-то не было ностальгических воспоминаний о том, как много было хорошего секса в 80-ых.

Герой и того моложе. Это уж у кого как фишка ляжет. Или кто как себя помнит: скажем, 80е в воспоминаниях раскрашены весело, а 90е - наоборот.
