enot06Получилось, что время, намеченное для рассказа о спектакле театра БУМ, ушло на другое дело, тоже важное. Оказалось, что очень близко от меня семья в состоянии unemployment выплачивает полную стоимость COBRA, потому что они не знают о том, что им полагается. Делилась информацией.
Поделюсь и здесь, вдруг кому пригодится.

You typically get relevant paperwork shortly after you apply for unemployment benefit. You can request application form over the phone:

Premium Assistance Plan
If you have the option of continuing participation in COBRA or a health insurance plan you have previously purchased yourself,
you may receive monthly subsidies towards your premium payments.
DUA currently pays for 80 percent of the actual premium paid up to a maximum of $1020/month for a family plan and $430/month for an individual plan.
MSP - для тех, кто находится под 400% FPIC.
You pay for COBRA first. Тhen they reimburse you, so you may recover 80% of your payments.
Once unemployment benefit is over, you can apply for MassHealth.
Children under 18 are automatically eligible. For adults this is defined by FPIG* wheather they are eligible for free care. You have to come under 400% FPIG. Otherwise they'll forward your application to Commonwealth Insurance, which requires a co-payment, but less than COBRA.
