From my e-mail

Sima got Chemical elements table and Chemistry set for his b-day. So in a while he may even do chem problems on Khan!
The only issue is that now no one at home has the time to explain chemistry to him or do chem experiments :((

Reason being that I started a full-time job a week ago... and I have 1 hour 10 min commute each way.
And my mother-in-law who was visiting from Israel for 2 months left today...

He also walks on his hands when not doing something that requires him to return to "head-up" position.
He also entered 1st perehodnij vozrast with trends like lying for no reason, arguing with parents and teachers (not at school - yet), being deliberately annoying -- like singing Annoying Orange songs or listening to Beatles at max volume...
But perehodnij vozrast doesn't mean he is mature - he has a friend a year older, and it's very clear who is the leader and who is the little'one. Shima is what he should be for his age. But Sima has surplus of energy which doesn't mean maturity (Osya was very different).
