enot06BELMONT, Mass. —The pieces of a wall fell onto the commuter rail track in Belmont near Moraine Street, Tuesday evening, causing delays to the MBTA Fitchburg/South Acton commuter rail, according to Belmont Assistant Police Chief James MacIsaac.
MacIsaac said the pieces fell off into the track at about 4:30 p.m., about 100 yards from the Waverley Station. There were no trains coming as the pieces fell on the track and no injuries were reported. Police do not immediately know why the pieces of the wall fell, Wicked Local reported.
