republican candidates are still against abortions (at least in principal) and many people don't vote for them based on this single issue. for other single issue voters, the dislike for jews or the jewish state is the single issue that they vote on and nothing changed in this field in the democratic nomination teams in the past 8 years... other things sure changed, but not these.
The people are saying "abortion doesn't matter, look at other issues." What issues do they mean? If they had any hot button issues with actual facts, they'd talk about them, not sweep them aside.
Give me one reason, one fact to suspect that Hillary Clinton doesn't like jews. The suggestion is completely preposterous.
abortions are deemed as a right by many and many (at least among the people i know) have this as a main point against republicans. enot obviously does too, that is why the whole discussion started. as for hillary - i didn't alledge that she doesn't like jews, but looking back at the policy matters and speeches and voting decisions, it seems to (at least to) me that mccain will be better for israel than either hillary or obama, tougher on terrorism, tougher on hamas, tougher either in speeches or in actions.
am not sure how to go dig through the past congress votes, but looking at their rhetoric (like solutions for middle east is more UN co-operation and building schools and talking to palestenians even more) leads me to believe that either they will vote or have voted along these lines or they are hyppocrites. none of their speeches that i have heard mentioned once being tougher on palestenians or terrorists and that we should give more support to israel. and of course "war is not the answer" (like war didn't solve problems like naziism).

Very funny. So you honestly believe that what they are saying on the campaign trail reflects their voting record or what they used to say before?
hmm.. let me think, there once was a great torture protester, who said that waterboarding is unquestionably torture and should be illegal. Who could've that been? Oh, wait, wasn't that the same guy who's now completely on board with waterboarding (pardon my pun). And that's just one example.
or they are hyppocrites.
Yeah, funny that -- see above about the torture, plus about abortions, etc.
(like solutions for middle east is more UN co-operation and building schools and talking to palestenians even more)
name one thing Hillary said that would include talking to Palestinians even more. What did she say that would suggest that's her plan?
What possible votes could a congressman have on Palestinian-Israeli relations?
none of their speeches that i have heard mentioned once being tougher on palestenians or terrorists and that we should give more support to israel.
Name one McCain speech that says we should be tougher on Palestinians and give more support to Israel. Actually, I'll even take one of the two, not even necessarily both statements together.
And what do intra-US terrorists have to do with Palestinians?
and of course "war is not the answer" (like war didn't solve problems like naziism).
"Hammer is not an answer to a problem of spilled milk" _- there's a statement for you. I don't see why a statement that's true, like you give, would be in any way contradictory. E.g. "Hammer can be used to solve the problem of nailing something down." So what? IT's still not an answer to spilled milk. So I don't quite see the point of your comment or where you are going with it.
