Позитив: Таня, спеша на поезд, стала на ходу выпрыгивать из моей машины, которая застряла в трафике, но! я упела причалить к плинтуару. На поезд Таня опоздала, но ноги в сапогах целы, на том спасибо.

Позитив про резину: Сима научился от бабушки слову "хариф" [острый, пряный на иврите]. - Хочу харифную жвачку! - это, между прочим, spicy cinnamon. Ему нравится.
Позитив про банк: здесь нахoдится реклама TD Bank. Они обещали дать самый лучший процент для home equity line. Еще у них есть penny arcade - такая машина, в которую дети ссыпают мелочь (пенни, никели, если очень повезло - даймы), а машина ее сканирует и переводит в деньги. На эти деньги дети имеют красивую жизнь.
Про дом: чинители крыш, похоже, все с них попадали, один не перезвонил, второй перезвонил дважды типа зайдет - и пропал, третий самый загадочный - быстро пришел, в тот же день прислал по е-мэйлу оценку и "спрашивайте, отвечаем", на е-мэйл не отвечает, один из телефонов больше не принимает сообщения - переполнен, а со второго он не перезванивает. А я-то думала, они этим зарабатывают, ну, типа крыши чинят - новые кладут.
Про медицину:

I need to stick to my treatment protocol - my insurance changed 3 times since I started on this drug and without applying some pressure it would not have worked.

I must say that you offer the best windows on the market, fiber glass frames and all. We decided to order 2 windows from Pella…
At this point of time the story goes on like “… and it was a mistake”.
We made a deposit of $$ (50% of total cost) on mm/dd/yyyy and 2 payments of $$ each on 03/01 (1st floor window installation) & on 04/01 (2nd floor window installation).
2nd floor window was installed at an angle so the top edge is inclined inwards. I was told we have an inclined wall which doesn’t explain why the old window was straight and the 1st floor window was installed by Pella with no incline. Well, I said we can live with it.
The exterior flashing on top of the 2nd floor window looks as if it was bitten by sharks. I was told by Pella project manager it’s easy to fix.
The 1st floor window wooden top interior trim is not parallel to the bottom. We were told it will be fixed when the 2nd floor window is installed but then we were told there is not enough material and someone will contact us shortly. 1.5 months have passed by.
And now the worst issue: 1st floor window has a damaged fiber glass frame. We couldn’t see the dent on the bottom till we started staining the wood around it. We were told by Pella that either the window should be substituted or this dent can be cocked and probably won’t leak. I wonder how this situation agrees with your famous Pella fiberglass warranty.
We were blessed with 2 visits from Pella project manager taking pictures and acknowledging our claims and a number of “everything will be all right” e-mails from Recovery dept rep. The last visit was on Friday April 30, 2010, promise made to either fix the issues or come up with settlement by Tuesday May 4. On Friday May 7, 2010 I contacted Recovery Dept rep suggesting that if the case is not resolved by Wednesday May 12, 2010, we’ll dispute payments. “I understand your frustration, everything will be all right” e-mail followed in response.
Me and my husband initiated dispute on 2 last payments today May 12.
I’m holding on disputing the deposit or logging my opinion at BBB.
I hope you will spare me from going to small claims court.
I must tell you that as much as I love Pella’s windows I have better things to do than spend all this time and energy on making sure these windows are not damaged and not installed in some crooked way. This is not my job.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have question or rather solutions to the above issues.
